Bossier Parish Central Library

Completed in 2024, the 39,000-square-foot Bossier Parish Library Central Branch was designed to serve the evolving needs of a growing community. The facility expands access to technology, meeting spaces, and library resources while reinforcing the library’s role as a hub for learning, connection, and public engagement. Designed by Prevot Design, the building brings together a variety of spaces that support both individual focus and group interaction, creating an environment that is welcoming, flexible, and responsive to a wide range of users.

The interior program includes library shelving and book collections, computer labs, dedicated children’s and teen areas, lounge seating, and flexible meeting spaces that can adapt to community programming and events. Together, these elements create a dynamic, future-ready library that enhances access to information, fosters community connection, and supports lifelong learning across Bossier Parish.
