LCMC Health Headquarters
LCMC Health is on a mission to provide extra-ordinary care for every person in New Orleans while bringing a little more heart and soul to healthcare along the way. As LCMC Health acquired hospitals around the city, it became increasingly difficult for them to function as a team with executives spread among the various facilities. Designed by EskewDumezRipple (EDR), LCMC Health’s new headquarters provide their leadership team with a consolidated, cohesive workplace in the heart of downtown New Orleans.
AOS closely collaborated with the design team at EDR and general contractor Impetus to assist with pricing, sustainability measures and design intent. As a health system, creating a culture of wellness is at the forefront of their vision both for the greater community and their employees. Located on 24th and 25th floors of the Energy Centre, LCMC Heath’s headquarters offer extensive views of the CBD and maximizes natural daylight, which helps boost employee well-being. In addition to private offices and open plan workstations, alternative work environments also support individual work modes and productivity, including a wellness room, huddle and conference rooms, collaboration areas, a boardroom, breakrooms and lounge areas. EDR also designed LCMC Health’s headquarters to be a physical manifestation of their brand—authentically New Orleans, always looking forward, championing originality and providing a little something extra. Their offices are infused with local art and branded graphics that celebrate the spirit of New Orleans and LCMC. Bright, white finishes balance warm oaks while pops of blue, green and teal are woven throughout the space. Designed with inherent flexibility and resiliency, their office can be reconfigured to respond to changing and future needs. LCMC Health aims to treat people like family, and their headquarters feel like home—casual, comfortable, community oriented and a place you want to be.
