After collaborating on Phoenix Marketing’s Tampa location, CICADA and Lauren Bombet Interiors teamed up again to design the company’s 9,000 sq-ft New York office. Located on the corner of Broadway and 40^th Street, the office is just South of the vibrant and bustling Times Square. While the projects have complementary designs to maintain consistency across the brand and various locations, AOS worked with CICADA and Lauren Bombet to provide acoustic and furniture solutions that were tailored to the project’s needs and budget.

The modern design features a variety of open and enclosed spaces for flexibility and to boost productivity. For instance, the scope includes 72 workstations from OFS and six private offices for focused, independent work in addition to two large conference rooms and smaller breakout spaces, which offer a variety of nimble settings and adaptable pieces to support the different ways people work and move throughout the day. Individuals and groups of two to four people can step into smaller shared spaces for a sense of quiet or privacy. For larger meetings, team members can gather in informal spaces, such as the break room, lounge areas or standing height counters with stools, which offer a chance for spontaneous collaboration and flexible use. In a more traditional sense, conference rooms provide employees a place to assemble for both internal and client meetings and presentations.

The contemporary design also supports individual well-being and a healthy workplace by incorporating acoustics. Bright yellow TURF ceiling baffles absorb noise, making it easier for employees to concentrate and increase performance. The pops of color add an overall warmth and an electric energy that matches the nearby neighborhood.
