Internship Spotlight: Paige Miller | AOS Interior Environments
AOS was thrilled to welcome Paige Miller as its first Marketing intern this spring! She is currently pursing a degree in interior design with a minor in marketing from Indiana University Bloomington. During her time with us, Paige showcased her creative flair and marketing acumen through various impactful projects. She worked on a MillerKnoll Design With Impact social media campaign, created the AOS + Frasch CEU Happy Hour email Campaign, worked on the company's March Sip + Celebrate presentation, and contributed to the AOS Samples Site and Education Precedents presentation.

Internship Spotlight: Paige Miller

AOS was thrilled to welcome Paige Miller as its first Marketing intern this spring! She is currently pursing a degree in interior design with a minor in marketing from Indiana University Bloomington. During her time with us, Paige showcased her creative flair and marketing acumen through various impactful projects. She worked on a MillerKnoll Design With Impact social media campaign, created the AOS + Frasch CEU Happy Hour email Campaign, worked on the company’s March Sip + Celebrate presentation, and contributed to the AOS Samples Site and Education Precedents presentation.

How has your internship at AOS helped you grow as a designer?

“Through this internship, I have learned more about the ins and outs of marketing which has helped me develop a deeper understanding of how design intersects with branding and consumer engagement. This experience has refined my ability to create visually appealing and impactful designs that catch the eye and resonate with target audiences on a deeper level. Additionally, working closely with the marketing team has taught me the importance of collaboration and effective communication in translating design concepts into successful campaigns. Overall, my internship at AOS has helped shape me into a more well-rounded and strategic designer.”

How has your internship at AOS impacted your design process?

“Previously, I focused primarily on aesthetics and creativity, but through this experience, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of research, strategy, and collaboration in the design process. Working closely with the AOS Marketing team has taught me to consider the visual aspects of design and the functionality, user experience, and brand identity. This has led to a more thorough and thoughtful design process, where I prioritize understanding the client’s goals, target audience, and market trends before diving into the creative phase.”

What was one of the most valuable lessons you learned during your internship?

“One of the most valuable lessons I learned during my internship is patience and understanding that projects take time and rarely unfold exactly as planned. This realization has taught me the importance of flexibility and adaptability in the face of unexpected challenges or delays. Rather than becoming frustrated by setbacks, I’ve learned to approach them as opportunities for growth and refinement.”

What was your favorite experience during your internship?

“My favorite experience of my internship was the opportunity to collaborate individually with each member of the Marketing team, engaging in various projects. Working closely with each of them brought my diverse perspectives and skill sets to the table and challenged me to expand my capabilities and think outside the box.”
