CSRS Headquarters

CSRS, a leading provider of engineering, planning and development advisory services, was new headquarters at United Plaza in Baton Rouge. Designed by RHH Architects and CDI Solutions, the project aimed to create a dynamic and functional office that fosters collaboration, innovation, and productivity. With a focus on versatility, the space accommodates various functions, including training, meetings, individual work, and break out areas.

The design weaves together green finishes, not only to reflect the company’s branding, but also integrate biophilic design elements, such as indoor plants and natural materials, to create a connection with nature and enhance employee well-being and productivity. Strategically placed breakout zones are integrated into the workstation areas, providing employees with informal spaces for impromptu meetings and casual discussions. Additionally, phone booths are placed throughout the office to provide employees with quiet spaces for making private calls, conducting video conferences, or focusing on tasks without distractions. Various sized conference rooms and a reconfigurable training room also allow for more collaborative meetings, while a designated a large break room offers employees a comfortable environment for to relax, socialize, and recharge.
