St. Augustine High School Rigaud Health & Wellness Center
Sustaining damage in a fire in 2021, St. Augustine High School partnered with Trapolin-Peer Architects (TPA) to restore and modernize the Rigaud Health + Wellness Center. The facility reinforces St. Augustine’s mission to foster the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of its students, developing well-rounded young men prepared to excel in all aspects of life. TPA’s goal was to create a space that not only meets the athletic program’s needs but also reflects the school’s unique culture, history, and values.
Roughly 2,300 square feet of administrative and guest areas were outfitted to support the school’s daily operations. Private and shared offices, lounge areas, and flexible conference rooms provide the athletic director, head coaches, and assistant coaches with dedicated space to improve workflow and offer convenience and efficiency. In addition, an elevated skybox lounge offers sponsors and donors a premium view of the court below. Within the Mid Century building, interior finishes incorporate rich purple and gold tones, celebrating the spirit and pride of the Purple Knights. Today, the revitalized Rigaud Health + Wellness Center strengthens St. Augustine’s position as a competitive force in athletics and student development, delivering a collegiate-caliber environment grounded in tradition.
