SIXINCH is a creative Belgium company founded in 2003 by Pieter Jamart and Michel Sels. The birth of the company came from a passion for innovative materials and progressive design. SIXINCH specializes in the design and manufacture of high concept foam coated furniture and architectural products. A few of those items made it all the way to our New Orleans office today. Allow us to introduce some fresh design from the eastern hemisphere!

Blocks is a product that looks just as you’d imagine it. Designed by Pieter Jamart, the block is eighteen inches on all sides and comes in bright, eye-catching colors. They can be used in place of bar stools at your kitchen counter or in place of the two “known-to-be-dull” chairs in front of an executive’s desk. Why not add some fun to your space and just throw a few in a pile! Blocks can bring out the kid in all of us.

The Box is a piece that one might do a double-take on. Appearing as a regular box that could get tossed into a warehouse and unloaded, this quirky product will add cheer to any space. It may even suggest its users to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine. However you take it, your bottom is sure to be comfy. The Box is available in a rainbow of colors and three sizes: 14”x14”x14”, 18”x18”x18” and 20”x20”x20.”

Louis I is a contemporary twist on a classic piece that has been around for centuries. A once regular arm chair becomes a standout element in any room. From head to toe, the Louis I is specially coated with a proprietary formula and with one of the brand’s 20 standard colors. This SIXINCH product is flexible, weather-resistant, seamless and hygienic. Standing at 37” tall and 23.5” wide, you’ll feel like as savvy as the technology that makes up this product.

S1 is a groovy lounger that invites all that encounter it to sit back and relax. This versatile piece can be positioned with a tall back and short seat or as a short back with a long seat. The options are endless and can be tailored to a space’s ambiance. This product is available in four different sizes and eye-popping colors. It’s hard to resist the charm flowing through this one-of-a-kind piece.

Tingle is a seating option in a league of its own. Looking like a tube that Mario and Luigi might pop out of, this product is made of coated foam and plastic, has optional storage, and can be stacked to fit its user. Who wouldn’t want a seat that doubles as a storage bin? The tops and bottoms can be interchanged with an assortment of colors allowing for full customization. Designed by Jason Bird and measuring up at sixteen inches on all sides, this fun-sized product will add pizazz to a library, a restaurant or a doctor’s office.
